CREDIT: GARY MORRISCOE PHOTOGRAPHYRachel is an experienced arts professional with almost 20 years in the sector, specialising in learning and engagement, fundraising, strategic development and stakeholder management.
She began her career within museums, including programming roles at the V&A, Museum of London and Historic Royal Palaces. She subsequently served as Senior Relationship Manager at Arts Council England, and as the Director of the East End Women’s Museum. Rachel now works part-time for the Greater London Authority, supporting the Mayor’s London Borough of Culture, a multi-artform, participatory programme which reaches over half a million audiences each time.
As a freelance consultant for the last seven years, she has supported a range of clients, typically around audience development, capacity building and project management. She has written successful funding bids totalling over £4M. Rachel is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and an alum of the UK Creative Community Fellows and Clore Inclusive Cultures initiatives.
